Keep up with the team
The Villanova University Rugby Football Club was founded in November of 1959 by Francis Coghlan. The club has seen great success since then, and has been a mainstay and fond memory for many members of the Villanova community. All new comers are welcome to come out for the team and join this great Nova' tradition. Click here to find out more about the club's history

In the Division 2 National Tournament Villanova advanced to the Elite Eight. The team beat Big East rival Marquette 47-43 in a close Sweet Sixteen shootout. The next day the Wildcats faced Queens University in the Elite Eight. It was a hard fought match that came down to the final moments but Villanova fell 39-34. They ended the fall as MARC Champions with an undefeated regular season.

The Wildcats win the 2018 MARC D2 Championship! Bloomsburg battled hard in the first half but in the second Villanova pulled away dramatically to a 57-12 finish. The Wildcats now have a Sweet Sixteen berth in the National D2 Championship​
